Note: This is the first chapter of a fan-fictional story that I started writing last September (or somewhere around that time). It's about the life of a Transformers Prime character named Smokescreen, from the moment of his 'coming on-line' to whenever I decide to end it. I do not own Smokescreen or Transformers. But there are some characters throughout the story that I have made up.      Adam hated the uniforms. He always had. If it were up to him, there wouldn't be any. The recruits would be allowed to wear whatever they wanted, so long as they had a sword with them. But he knew he'd never be in charge of the Sky Army, so why bother?     He sighed and pulled off his uniform blazer, tossing it aside carelessly, leaving him in the dark gray uniform pants and a white tee shirt.     He hated being in the military... He was only here so he wouldn't have to go to school like his family wanted him to. It was odd though; it was almost fun to fight. He sort of liked the thrill of not knowing whether or not you would live or di
